Easy Open supplies automatic pedestrian doors, access control and entrance solutions to many different industry sectors.  We provide a full design, installation and commissioning service to British Standard 7036.  We work closely with our clients to ensure that the final solution meets the needs of the pedestrians who will be using the doors and also that it meets the client’s design brief in terms of performance, aesthetics and price.  We are based in Leicestershire and undertake installations throughout the UK.

Easy Open is an independent company and therefore not restricted to supplying a single brand of operator.  We regularly purchase product from some of the largest manufacturers of automation units.  This enables us to offer our customers a large selection of operators thus ensuring that the most appropriate system for their installation is supplied; we can also supply particular brands of operators where these are specified.  Our access to such a wide range allows us to supply quality products at competitive prices.

The one thing that sets Easy Open apart from other automatic door companies is our commitment to our customers.  Should you encounter a problem we will have an engineer on site usually within 24 hours, the same day if at all possible.

Extended Warranty

All our installations carry a full parts and labour guarantee for the first 12 months.  However, we are so confident of the products we install and the quality of our fitting that we offer an optional 12 month extended parts and labour warranty.  This commences on the anniversary of the installation and not only covers the cost of any call outs, breakdowns and parts but also includes bi-annual servicing.  This extended warranty can only be taken up within 3 months of the installation date.  

The cost of this warranty is comparable to a normal servicing only contract offered by other automation companies but includes all parts, labour, servicing and call outs thus fixing your costs for the 12 month period.

Service Only Contract

The operators, safety devices and activation equipment are serviced every 6 months in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines and a certificate of compliance with BS7036 is issued for each door set.  Should there be an incident involving a pedestrian and your automatic doors a claim may be made against you.  In order to claim against your insurance you will need to produce the certificate to prove that the doors in question have been maintained to BS7036 Safety at Powered Doors for Pedestrians. 
 
Minor adjustments to the doors’ operation are made at the time of servicing, any breakdowns between services and required parts would be chargeable.

Repairs

We also offer repairs and servicing to installations other than our own.  We have our own full time engineers and a UK wide network of excellent self employed engineers who are available if needed.  This enables us to resolve customer’s problems very quickly.

We are always happy to offer technical assistance and advice to potential customers, designers, architects and surveyors, product data sheets are also available upon request.
