Easy Open supplies automatic pedestrian doors, access control and entrance solutions to many different industry sectors. We provide a full design, installation and commissioning service to EN16005. We work closely with our clients to ensure that the final solution meets the needs of the pedestrians who will be using the doors and also that it meets the clients’ design brief in terms of performance, aesthetics and price. We are based in Leicestershire and undertake installations throughout the UK.

We work with construction companies of every size, architects, specifiers, end users, charities, housing associations, occupational therapists and also the general public. We install automation to shops, offices, hospitals, commercial premises, surgeries, schools, colleges, universities, sheltered housing schemes, and domestic properties. Easy Open is an independent company and therefore not restricted to supplying a single brand of operator. We regularly purchase product from some of the largest manufacturers of automation units. This enables us to offer our customers a large selection of operators thus ensuring that the most appropriate system for their installation is supplied; we can also supply particular brands of operators where these are specified. Our access to such a wide range allows us to supply quality products at competitive prices.

The one thing that sets Easy Open apart from other automatic door companies is our commitment to our customers. Should you encounter a problem we will have an engineer on site usually within 24 hours, the same day if at all possible. All our engineers are fully qualified, experienced are registered with the Automatic Door Suppliers Association and hold EN16005 and CSCS cards.

All our installations carry a full parts and labour guarantee for the first 12 months.

SERVICE


The EN16005 guidelines, Power Operated Pedestrian Doorsets – Safety in Use which we adhere to states that all automatic doors should be serviced at least annually. This is to ensure the safety of pedestrians using the door/s and also enables the person at the site responsible for Health and Safety to discharge their duty of care. Taking care of the equipment also maximizes its life expectancy and reduces problems which would require the attendance of an engineer. The operators, safety devices and activation equipment are serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, a certificate of EN16005 compliance is issued for each door set. Should there be an incident involving a pedestrian and your automatic door/s a claim may be made against you. In order to claim against your insurance you will need to produce the certificate of compliance to prove that the door/s in question have been maintained to EN16005.

Minor adjustments to the doors’ operation are made at the time of servicing, any breakdowns between services and required parts would be chargeable.

Repairs


We also offer repairs and servicing to installations other than our own. We have our own full time engineers, we do not use sub contractors. This enables us to resolve customer’s problems very quickly.

We are always happy to offer technical assistance and advice to potential customers, designers, architects and surveyors, product data sheets are also available upon request.
