KEEPING YOUR STAFF, VISITORS AND END USERS SAFE FROM COVID-19
Almost all push pads and press to exit buttons currently fitted have stainless steel faces and have to be pressed in order to open the door. The Covid virus can remain, and multiply, on stainless steel for up to 3 days transferring to and infecting other users.
80% of all infectious diseases including the Covid-19 virus are spread by touch.
The ultimate goal is to eradicate the need for anyone to touch an activation device or any part of the door in order to open it.
Easy Open’s new product the SAFE SWITCH will economically replace ANY steel push pad or press to exit device you already have fitted. The SAFE SWITCH does not need to be touched in any way to open automatic doors or release locks on manual doors where access control is fitted.
The label and the housing of the SAFE SWITCH is impregnated with anti bacterial silver which kills 99.9% of all germs and prevents them from multiplying on the surface should it become contaminated. The antimicrobial protection remains constant throughout the lifetime of the SAFE SWITCH which can be wiped clean with bleach and any other cleaning agent without sustaining any damage.
OPERATION – NO CONTACT WITH ANY PART OF THE SAFE SWITCH IS REQUIRED
There is no need to touch the label on the SAFE SWITCH to open the door. Just put a hand or finger from any angle within 80 mm of any part of the label and this will trigger the activation of the door. When the SAFE SWITCH detects movement the LED will flash and a beep will sound so the user knows that it has been activated. The SAFE SWITCH will also work through gloves. The SAFE SWITCH is IP rated and is safe for both external and internal use.
We can change ANY existing push pad or press to exit device for a SAFE SWITCH on swing or sliding doors regardless of operator brand.
All future automation installations carried out by Easy Open Ltd that require push pad activation will be fitted with SAFE SWITCH as standard
